This is a FUN one! The emotional-learning toy category is underdeveloped. Most dolls are either: ? hyper-realistic (for collectors), or ? cartoonish / babyish (lacking emotional depth), or ? educational toys lacking warmth This NEW DOLL can pioneer a new category: ? Emotion-Learning Companions: toys that are warm, expressive, pedagogical, and giftable. The insight: Parents struggle when children enter emotional overwhelm. They feel lost, embarrassed, frustrated, or unsure what to do. Kids feel dysregulated, unheard, or out of control. This doll provides a bridge: A physical, soft, emotionally clear companion that helps calm, translate, and guide emotions. There are various masks you can put on the doll to help children describe and understand what they are feeling, and give them the tools to move through it. ***WE DONT WANT BABY NAMES OR NAMES THAT SOUND BABYISH***** Names should reflect warmth and emotional clarity; not cuteness, gimmicks, or clinical distance. To start, we'd love you to explore ideas around: The World of Feelings Emotions become visible, nameable, and easier to practice. Children feel seen, understood, and supported. Tone: Warm, bright, clear, gently magical. Emotional driver: Understanding • Growth • Warmth You can also just explore other ideas that make sense outside of this realm. *****Name should be easily pronounceable I think there's something to this idea of changing face/etc. Think about how we go through emotions and can identify and change how we feel. (Think about this now, for your own self. How are you feeling, what needs to happen to change that feeling? How can talking about it improve how you feel?) PS: People HATE masks due to covid. And this isnt about masks, it's more about learning about how we feel. Let's name something that helps kids do that. :)
